Our Story
Originally constructed in the 1970s during the golden age of Alberta ambition, The Mansion began as a grand private country estate created by European entrepreneur Carlos von Maffei.
Today, the mansion lives on through another chapter. Purchased by the Munro family in the late 90's, they envisioned love stories unfolding and memorable events taking place. The property has been hosting weddings for over twenty years, with plans to soon welcome corporate meetings, and curated events.
Exquisite Spaces & Luxurious Amenities
Set on 7.5 acres of manicured grounds, surrounded by mature trees, gardens, and open green space, the property offers privacy, beauty, and room to celebrate. Guests arrive through stately gates to a circular driveway, where the striking red brick façade and white pillars create an unforgettable first impression.
Inside, more than 20,000 square feet of elegant living and entertaining space awaits. From the grand ballroom, formal dining room, and refined library to the billiards room, media theatre, and original vault transformed into an arcade lounge, every room has its own character and purpose. The estate also features a chef’s kitchen, workout centre, sauna, swim spa, gymnasium, children’s play space, and will soon include a luxurious master suite.
With seven bedrooms accommodating up to twenty overnight guests, five private ensuites, and additional RV camping sites with electrical service, The Mansion was designed for gathering without compromise. It is a place where wedding parties can stay together, families can celebrate all weekend, and guests can enjoy every moment without ever needing to leave the grounds.
Outdoors, ceremonies unfold beneath the covered pergola, evenings gather around the fire pit and pizza oven, and laughter carries across the lawns long after sunset.

With openings for weddings from September onwards, we are welcoming couples to experience The Mansion in person and discover the beauty and potential of the estate for their special day. We also invite inquiries from those interested in corporate meetings, and bespoke events as we expand our offerings throughout 2027.
